Climate change
We support the Paris Agreement and will commit to research, innovation and to implement initiatives that will help limit global warming.
We are at the start of our journey to better manage and report against our environmental performance. As always, we’re committed to transparency, and will report our progress as we mature and adapt to climate risk.
We will progressively align our disclosures against the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

We adopt and maintain sustainable practices in our use of natural resources
We have a responsibility to manage natural resources in a way to save water, protect soils and improve biodiversity, as part of our commitment to sustainable viticulture and winemaking.
Our business is committed to sustainable operations. Chapel Hill winery is a great example with a focus on a gentle, traditional winemaking culture and respect for the local landscape.
In 2022, Chapel Hill vineyard and winery achieved certification under the Sustainable Winegrowing Australia (SWA) Program and has been involved with the program since its inception.
The SWA is a national program for grape growers and winemakers to demonstrate and continuously improve their sustainability in the vineyard and winery through the environmental, social and economic aspects of their businesses.
We have also been conscious of our water use. Our wastewater treatment plant between Dorrien Estate and Vinpac International is now in full operation, and the water that is used in operations is captured, treated and reused for more than 20 hectares of crop irrigation, with the ability to be returned to sites for watering gardens.
