The taste of summer rolls on, as new and innovative wine spritzers are unveiled across selected Dan Murphy’s, BWS and ALH Hotels

A dazzling array of effervescent fizz will soon grace retail aisles and local hotels, tantalising the taste buds of liquid aficionados right around the country.

Wine spritzers will be unveiled across selected Dan Murphy’s and BWS as well as ALH Hotels continuing the wave of a spritz-soaked summer. 

‍

The new range will come from six brands: Noble Fellows, Old Fat Unicorn, Jacob’s Creek, Squealing Pig, Tread Softly and Tempus One, all showcasing a variety of flavourful, light and refreshing palette delights in can and bottle formats. 

‍

Dan Murphy’s Category Manager Ben Lafford said the move was indicative of drink innovation and presented an opportunity to embrace the wine-curious. 

‍

“Wine spritzers address the evolving preferences of those looking for something new while warmly welcoming those who want to experience their first taste of the wine world,” he said. 

‍

“It’s an uncomplicated way to deliver delectable flavours while delivering exactly what people are looking for; a focus on moderation, sustainability, and convenience, to meet the changing needs of consumers in a dynamic market. 

‍

“This encapsulates the freedom to enjoy a drink or two without any obligation to finish an entire bottle, ensuring no waste.”

The move towards wine spritzers aligns with current trends with Australian drinkers wanting to simply “drink better”. 

‍

Among the new releases, Noble Fellows launches two Marlborough-inspired flavours: Sauvignon Blanc Passionfruit Spritzer and Pinot Gris White Peach Spritzer.

‍

Old Fat Unicorn introduces an Apple Prosecco Spritzer and Musk Moscato Spritzer. Jacob’s Creek presents its award-winning Le Petit Rose in a Spritzer can for the first time. 

‍

Squealing Pig offers two flavours with a Strawberry or Tropical option. Tempus Two releases Tempus One with passion fruit Prosecco and Watermelon Prosecco Spritzers and Tread Softly introduces a Summer Berries Spritzer a Summer Berries Spritzer.
