Sustainability
People
We are committed to championing individuality, and the human and personal rights of our people, our suppliers and our customers.

A safe, inclusive workplace for everyone
Our business is built on brands and venues that bring people together, driven by more than 28,000 team members and thousands more across our supply chain.
As we are in the business of people, we’re focused on prioritising a safe, inclusive, supportive and diverse workforce. One that creates better long-term outcomes for Endeavour and the equally diverse communities we are a part of.

Reconciliation
Reconciliation is an opportunity to live our purpose of creating a more sociable future together.
We are at the beginning of our reconciliation journey, and therefore we are committed to first listening to and learning from those with lived experience. This process will enable us to channel our energy and support into meaningful, clear and measurable reconciliation goals and actions.
Committing to a Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) will guide Endeavour in developing trusted relationships with First Nations peoples over time. This is an important step in our reconciliation journey that will help inform our vision for reconciliation and develop long-term goals and commitments as we learn and grow along the way.
Our partnership with Jawun
Partnership is key to helping us learn and create impactful change.
Jawun is a not-for-profit organisation that connects its corporate partners with secondment opportunities in Indigenous organisations to help deliver business and community programs.
Endeavour has partnered with Jawun for over 12 years, and in 2022, we elevated this relationship to “Transform” level partnership.

We are deeply privileged to have Riki tell a story that is uniquely Endeavour, through a dynamic visual language and the timelessness and omniscience of the Dreaming.

Riki is an accomplished artist and graphic designer with over 20 years’ experience, specialising in contemporary Indigenous art, design and communications.
Educated in Cairns and Brisbane, Riki has worked on high profile projects across corporate, government, and not-for-profit sectors in Australia and internationally. Prior to founding We Are 27 Creative, Riki worked as Creative Director in two of Australia’s leading Indigenous design agencies.
Diversity and inclusion
Our people are the most important part of our business. They are the creators of our products, the minds behind our innovations, and the faces our customers see in our stores, hotels and wineries each day. That’s why it’s so important our teams are well-trained and connected, with each person feeling supported, empowered to be themselves, and engaged with what they do.
Some of the other initiatives we have been working on:

HESTA’s 40:40 Vision
We are proud to have pledged our support for industry super fund HESTA’s 40:40 Vision to increase the proportion of women in senior leadership across Australia’s largest listed companies by at least 40% by 2030.

Safety and wellbeing
Creating a safe environment for our team, customers and community has, and will always be a priority.
With a safety-first culture ingrained in our business, we’re focused on minimising risks and hazards to eliminate incidents, and providing best care and response support on the occasions incidents do occur.
Some of the initiatives we have in place to support the wellbeing of our team:
Respecting and promoting human rights and ethics in our operations and supply chain

We rely on the sustainability and integrity of our suppliers and we are focused on building open and transparent relationships based on trust. We use tools such as the Voice of Supplier survey to assess our performance and to provide our suppliers with an opportunity to be open and provide feedback on our engagement with them. This will allow us to review our process and implement changes.
Our commitment to making a positive imprint on people includes respecting and promoting their human rights, and ensuring ethical sourcing across our operations and supply chain. This is one we can’t do on our own. That’s why we’re focused on building transparent, effective sourcing programs and policies, and working collaboratively with supply partners.
